Mother’s Day was pretty interesting.  I got to sleep in (although I was out of bed by 7:15 anyways) and then I got my presents (gift card for Michael’s Crafts from Aaron, and a food processor from the kids).  After that, we went to Burger King for our Sunday morning family breakfast (it’s a weekly tradition!).  Then we headed to church.  Once we were parked, Chloe decided to throw open her door and it hit the car next to us which belongs to a kid that goes to our church.  Of course, it left a scrape mark and a dent.  Urghhshskljhdh.  We told Skyler what happened and had him come look at it, and then gave him our number so he could call on Monday and tell us how much the repair would be (he never ended up calling either…).  Then after church we went to the park with Aaron’s parents and had a picnic lunch and let the kids play for awhile.  Then we came home and Aaron made me a cake, cooked some steak and salad for us, and we just hung out for the rest of the night.   All in all, it was a great day!

I don’t think I managed to wish you a happy Mothers Day! Well, I’m glad you had a nice one, minus the door mishap… heh. But even that sounds like it ended up okay.
